The Sea Scouts of Ship 564 have been working to renovate the S.S.S. Conquest. the Stanley W. Ekstrom Foundation provided financial assistance to help them complete their project. We're proud to announce that renovations have been completed and the ship has been launched.

Kitten Rescue Los Angeles

Founded in the late 90's, Kitten Rescue Los Angeles has grown to become one of the largest and most respected animal welfare groups in Los Angeles. The goal of the organization is to find permanent homes for unwanted cats and kittens. The Kitten Rescue Sanctuary has a full-time staff as well as numerous volunteers who provide care, love and socialization for the cats housed there.

Patriotic Service Dog Foundation

The Stanley W. Ekstrom Foundations proudly supports the efforts of the Patriotic Service Dog Foundation. The foundation matches wounded veterans with highly trained and skilled Service Dogs. The Dogs allow their new partners to become more independent, self-confident, and comfortable with life outside of the military.

155th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion (CSSB) - US Army Reserve Center

May 14th, 2016, the command of the 155th CSSB passed from LTC Cory F. Henry to LTC Andrew S. Mac Vicar. Stan Ekstrom always had a deep respect for those who defend our country. Zack's New Tablet

Zack's New Tablet

Speech & Language Development Center, Buena Park

Zack Bernal was born with cerebral palsy and he uses a specialized tablet to communicate with friends and family. Unfortunately this tablet was stolen from the family's car. The Stanley W. Ekstrom Foundation worked with his school, the Speech & Language Development Center, to provide a new tablet for Zack.

American Legion, Newport Harbor Post 291

On the 4th of July, the American Legion Yacht Club presented it's annual Old Glory Boat Parade in Newport Harbor. American Legion, Newport Harbor Post 291, hosted this event to celebrate our nation's independence as well as our heroes in uniform. The Stanley W. Heritage Pointe - Mission Viejo

Heritage Pointe in Mission Viejo is a retirement community for Jewish seniors who wish to live with their own culture and traditions. The community was recently able to purchase a new minibus for the residents, this was made possible by a donation from the Stanley W. Ekstrom Foundation. The minibus provides the residents with a sense of freedom and mobility.

Veterans of Foreign Wars, USA (VFW) – Post of El Monte

Stan has been a long time contributor to the local VFW Post 10218 in Greater El Monte, helping them build their very own veteran’s hall in 2006 to current efforts that demonstrate our gratitude for those who have served to protect our wonderful country. This veteran’s service assists many war veterans in a variety of different capacities.

Stan has sponsored this group of special students from his local high school, sending them to Hawaii, New York, Washington D.C. where they have performed at the Aloha Bowl, Carnegie Hall and Madison Square Garden.
